Scout Summer Camp

Braggers Wood, New Forest

At the beginning of the holiday Gunners Scouts had a summer camp at Braggers Wood in the New Forest. The weather was mixed, but this didn’t deter the intrepid campers.

There was a multitude of activities, including archery and wall climbing (two firm Scout favourites), and the Scouts took advantage of the beautiful countryside to enjoy a cycle ride in the forest. They also had a day relaxing at the beach; some chose to paddle (either with or without wellies), some even braved the water for a full dip, and others just sat back, enjoyed the scenery and watched the goings on.
