Meon Valley District Cubs Swimming Gala

The first Meon Valley District swimming gala was held on Saturday 9th May at Bishops Waltham Junior School swimming pool. The Cubs had a great time with several races for the different age groups: 8 year olds, 9 year olds and 10 year olds.

There were individual races for breaststroke, freestyle and backstroke, a relay, and finally a squadron race where teams of six swam against each other. Finally, after all the races had finished, the Cubs had a free swim in the pool with all the pool toys and floats.

It would have been more fun if more teams had turned up from across the district but the final places were:

1st Place	Bishops Waltham Diamond Pack
2nd Place	Bishops Waltham Wolf Pack
